The project is an installation conceived as a platform that transforms the exhibition space into two interconnected, habitable levels, fostering interaction between our collective’s practice and that of invited artists. Constructed from wood, the structure supports ephemeral cycles of collaboration: the lower level features an installation by La Copia, while the upper level hosts a rotating selection of works by guest artists.
This exhibition framework actively challenges and enriches the artworks it houses, creating a dynamic feedback loop. The pieces engage in a conversation, reacting to and influencing one another—expanding, consuming, occupying, and affecting each other. This process generates a novel and unexpected creative practice that transcends individual authorship.
Beneath the platform, La Copia presents a frenetic, subterranean installation that reflects on intermittence as a symbol of the fragmented temporality of contemporary life. This space is populated with a diverse array of objects—plants, videos, utilitarian items, prints, and more—that critique the artificiality of time and the sterile digitization of the world. The result is an immersive, layered environment open to exploration, discovery, and reinterpretation.
